ROOTED: PLANTS IN PLACE

Margaret Saylor & Carol Woodin, with Susan Mintun & Judy Simon

February 16–March 13, 2027

Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery, Wayne Art Center, PA

Rooted explores how plants — grounded in their own environments — connect us to the land, anchoring, sustaining, and reminding us of our shared place in the natural world.

Conceived and organized by Saylor and Woodin, longtime colleagues through the American Society of Botanical Artists, the exhibition brings together two distinct bodies of work alongside invited contributions from Susan Mintun and Judy Simon. Work across graphite and watercolor on vellum, egg tempera on panel, and works on paper.
